In 2003, Oris began a partnership with Williams Formula 1. The independent Swiss watchmaker and the legendary British motor sport team have been through 15 seasons together since and in fact, Oris is Williams’s longestserving partner. In 2018, Oris reintroduced the TT1 collection, a series of boldly designed pieces inspired by the power, performance and precision of Formula 1 and Williams’s many achievements in the sport. The TT1 Day Date has a sleek 42mm stainless steel case with a black dial, muscular hands and applied hour markers, and a central seconds hand finished in Williams blue. The watch has a fluted dial ring and a grooved and fluted crown, two details designed to reflect the precision engineering of a Formula 1 race car. Its automatic mechanical movement gives the watch its day and date indications at 3 o’clock.
