Oris is delighted to announce a new partnership with the US-based non-profit Wings of Hope. Founded 60 years ago, Wings of Hope is a humanitarian organisation that changes and saves lives through the power of aviation. It operates around the world, running humanitarian, medical relief, air transport, STEM education and volunteer programmes. Oris is on a mission to bring Change for the Better through a wide range of programmes, one of which is partnerships with passionate, forward-thinking non-profits like Wings of Hope. It also has a track record for making high-functioning pilot’s watches that goes back more than a century. In 2022, the company proudly introduces a 1,000-piece limited-edition version of its signature design, the Big Crown, made to mark the start of this new partnership. Because the Big Crown is part of Oris' living history, they designed a classic-looking piece, albeit one powered by the state-of-the-art five-day automatic, Oris Calibre 401, and set on a strap made of sustainable deer leather by the new Swiss partner Cervo Volante.
